Referral code and welcome bonus offer
LootBear’s main feature is the opportunity to rent a wide variety of CS:GO skins. With this in mind, we’ve made an attractive offer for new members -
By following this link, or by using a “CSGOSB” promo code once you sign up, you’ll get a premium CS:GO skin for a week, for free!
The sign up process is fairly easy and fast, and you’ll be able to choose your skin in no time. For more information regarding the sign-up process jump to this section.
Game and service selection
LootBear is an all-around CS:GO skin trading platform where you can buy, sell and rent all kinds of skins. Here we’ll explore those three main services in detail so that you know exactly what to expect from LootBear.
Also, as the main difference lies in the Rent section, we’ll explain that one a bit more in detail, as buying and selling are pretty straightforward.
CS:GO skin renting
The basic monthly subscription plan for CS:GO skin renting starts at only $14.99. With that amount of money, you’ll get the chance to use some skins that are worth much over that price range.
And as the best part, you’ll be able to rotate the skins on a weekly basis. So if you get bored with the current set of skins, simply return them and replace them with another set. It’s that easy.
Now back to the facts. The minimum price you could pay per month is $14.99, and this will be billed if you opt for a 12-month subscription which is $179.88 in total.
The second option is to go for a 6-month subscription, which will cost you $101.94 for 6 months or $16.99 per month.
The last option is to go by month, and that’s the most expensive one at $24.99 per month.
With any of those subscriptions, you can rent up to 4 items or up to $400 worth of skins.
What about the LootBear Ultra?
With the LootBear Ultra subscription, instead of limiting to 4 items or $400 value, you can go up to 5 items or $1200 worth of skins.
The Ultra subscription is available for existing customers that have demonstrated success with previous rentals and returns. The option to subscribe to Ultra membership will be granted to your profile automatically once you become eligible.
Besides the higher limits, you’ll get access to LootBear’s rare skins inventory, as well as premium support. Those will cost you +$29.00 to your existing subscription plan. So if you’re using the 12- or 6-month subscription, the combined price will be just under $50 per month.
How to become a supplier and rent your own skins?
If you’re anyways having a decent CS:GO skin portfolio, you have a chance to earn some extra cash by renting your skins to other players on LootBear.
The initial sign-up process is the same for everyone. Once you finish that step, find the “Become a supplier” section and click on the “Deposit” button.
Then you’ll be redirected to your Steam inventory where you can deposit skins to the site. Then, once deposited, activate them for rent.
Now all that’s left is to wait for players to rent your skins. You can also promote your supplier page within your community and raise the potential profit.
Once you earn some money, you can withdraw it to PayPal with a $20 minimum, or transfer the money to your LootBear Balance.
If you happen to lose your skins (or in other words, if someone steals them), according to the LootBear, you’ll get a full refund! Also, as part of the KYC (know your customer) procedure, everyone is obligated to showcase their official government ID and credit card. So, once someone commits fraud, he’ll be charged accordingly.
Buying
While renting is the main feature, many players confirmed that buying skins at LootBear is beneficial for their wallets. The prices here are mostly 30% lower than Steam Market’s official value, so you’ll get to save a few bucks with every purchase.
LootBear offers a huge portfolio of different skins worth over 1.2 million dollars, so you’ll be satisfied with the choice. They are featuring rare skins sections with some of the unique items that are often pretty hard to find!
Selling
Selling skins at LootBear won't make you a fortune, and that’s a fact. This is not the best CS:GO trading site if you want to get the best money for your skins.
However, there’s one feature that separates LootBear from its competitors. They are allowing you to instantly sell your skins for 60% of the standard market value found on Steam.
As I’ve just said, sites like Key-drop, Hellcase, or CS.MONEY might offer you a better price for some skins. However, you certainly can’t make an instant sale.
Payment methods
LootBear offers a few different payment methods, both for deposits and withdrawals. The good thing is they are accepting crypto for deposits, however the same does not apply for withdrawals.
Deposit methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
- Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Ethereum)
- PayPal
- CS:GO skins
Withdrawal methods:
- PayPal
- CS:GO skins
During the deposit, depending on your payment method you’ll be charged a processing fee. The lowest is for PayPal and Cards, where you’ll pay 3% + $0.3. Crypto payments will take 10% as a fee.
Speaking of withdrawals, with LootBear balance (CS:GO skins) you won’t have any limitations. However, if you opt for PayPal, you’ll have a $20 minimum withdrawal amount.
Popularity and reputation
Thanks to its attractive CS:GO skin renting service, LootBear is quite popular within the gaming community. Right now this is almost the only site with such a feature, and while there might be some attempts of recreating the same idea, competitors are nowhere near to the functionality of LootBear.
Additionally, LootBear has a quite high Trustpilot score, 4.7 out of 5.0. And while the vast majority of reviews are 5-star, there are several complaints both on Trustpilot and sites such as Reddit, where people complained about the inefficient customer support and potential problems when renting your skins.
Although they refund money once the skins are stolen, some players reported that the value of returned money is not near to the actual value of the lost skins. Plus, for some cases, it took ages (several months) to get their money returned.
So, when we summarize all the information, the only problematic part can come to the foreplay once you’re having issues with renting your skins. And if we had to give a final verdict, we would certainly tell you to take care before renting. Also, we definitely wouldn't suggest renting out expensive or valuable skins, as problems might easily occur, according to the information found on unbiased sites.
Is LootBear scamming people?
No, LootBear is not intentionally scamming people, and they are having security and safety systems on a high level. They are collecting personal information from every customer, thus scams and frauds are set to a minimum.
However, even besides that, it seems like that some people weren’t as happy with the refunds after their skins got stolen. LootBear has its system of item valuation, so make sure to check that out before renting your belongings.
Support
Support is certainly not the best segment of LootBear. They are available through a live chat, however, it’s not as live. In fact, sometimes it might take around a day to get a response.
Besides the live chat, you can reach out more formally through email.
Also, if you’re in a hurry, reaching out through social media might be a good idea, as some players reported that they are more responsive over there.
However, the main issue with LootBear support is when it comes to a problem. There are cases when people got their skins stolen, and they had to go back and forth with the support for several months before getting a final solution.
License and security
LootBear was founded back in 2018 by Zengaming Inc, and since then they are classified as a legitimate and safe site for CS:GO skin buying, selling and renting.
They don’t need a license as they are not having any gambling-related activities, so proper security is all they have to take care of.
LootBear is using an AI security system called Risk Evaluation AI, where they collect signals about users to determine who’s likely to commit fraudulent activity. They seem to collect the information from a network of 100,000+ businesses, so the data should be fairly accurate.
Also, as a part of Credit Insurance, they are charging 110% of the value of the stolen skins directly through your bank or a credit company.
And last but not the least, to rent premium skins, users need to go through the full KYC cycle, where they need to provide an ID verification.
All these measures have set issues and frauds to a minimum, and although some problems might happen, LootBear is certainly doing its best to make a system that will eliminate those situations.

Our Verdict
LootBear is a great site for selling your CS:GO skins instantaneously, buying CS:GO skins at a lower price tag, and most importantly, for renting other players’ CS:GO skins.
As we already mentioned, you can instantly sell your skins for 60% of the market value.
Then, you can buy other players’ skins at a price 30% lower than the standard Steam Market’s price.
And lastly, for a monthly subscription starting at $14.99 you can rent some of the skins from a 1.2 million dollar CS:GO skins inventory, which is an amazing opportunity. You don’t have to spend a fortune buying skins. And more importantly, you have the option to rotate skins on a weekly basis, which is simply amazing!
You can as well rent out your skins and earn some money, however, we can’t 100% recommend this feature. There have been several reported problems associated with this feature, as discussed above.
